The Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to perform one preventive‑maintenance (PM) visit and any minor repairs at each of its statewide locations during the 2026 season. The work is limited to routine maintenance, filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks, and water‑treatment for identified water‑cooled sites; no new equipment installations or structural alterations are allowed. Contractors must hold Alabama state HVAC, refrigeration, and gas‑fitter licenses, and all technicians must maintain current EPA Section 608 certifications. Documentation—including on‑site inspection forms, before/after photos, water‑treatment reports, and repair quotes—must be submitted for each visit. The contract period runs from July 1 2026 through September 30 2026, with a one‑time purchase‑order ceiling of $25,000 and the possibility of annual renewals up to five years.
• Perform a full PM inspection at every DHR location (one visit per site between 07/01/2026‑09/30/2026).
• Replace pleated filters (MERV 10 minimum), clean coils, check refrigerant levels, and service electrical/mechanical components.
• Provide certified water‑treatment services for 11 counties with water‑cooled equipment.
• Submit completed inspection forms, dated photos, and any repair quotations on‑site; all repairs require prior written PO approval.
• Maintain all required state licenses and EPA certifications; furnish technician lists upon award.
