Grounds Maintenance FVATC

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a qualified vendor to provide lawn care, snow removal services, and salt spreading services for the Fox Valley Adult Transition Center. The contract is for 2 years, with services to be performed on an as-needed basis. The vendor will be responsible for maintaining the grounds, removing snow, and applying salt to prevent ice buildup. The contract includes requirements for insurance, warranties, and compliance with state and federal laws. • The vendor must provide lawn care services, including mowing, trimming, edging, and weed eating. • The vendor must provide snow removal services, including plowing and removing snow from roads, parking areas, and sidewalks. • The vendor must provide salt spreading services to prevent ice buildup on paved surfaces. • The vendor must have experience and knowledge in the snow removal business. • The vendor must maintain and have current all municipal, county, state, and/or federal licenses that are applicable and required for their business.
