Hypoxia Chamber Services

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) is seeking information from vendors who can provide hypoxia chamber services to investigate the physiological, cognitive, and clinical effects of mild hypobaric hypoxia. The contractor will be responsible for providing the infrastructure, personnel, training, materials, foods, supplies, and operational support necessary to execute the objective of the hypobaric chamber testing. The testing will involve recruiting and screening participants to participate in two 7-day chamber test protocols with continuous habitation, and collecting data on various physiological and cognitive measures. The data collected will be used to inform vehicle atmospheric conditions for NASA's Artemis Program. Some key aspects of the job include: • Recruiting and screening participants for the chamber tests • Providing infrastructure, personnel, and operational support for the chamber tests • Collecting data on physiological and cognitive measures during the chamber tests • Ensuring subject safety during the performance of experimental protocols • Providing medical support and monitoring during the chamber tests • Delivering electronic records of the data collected to NASA using a secure, NASA-approved method
