The City of Austin is seeking qualified recruitment consulting firms to provide executive and specialized recruitment services for city leadership positions. The contractor will manage the full recruitment lifecycle—including position intake, candidate profiling, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, background and reputational checks, and a 12‑month replacement guarantee. Work is performed under a competitive sealed‑proposal process, with a standard recruitment timeline not to exceed 16 weeks per search. The contract includes mandatory weekly progress reporting, travel coordination for candidates, and adherence to City procurement and wage‑theft policies. • Provide end‑to‑end executive search for City Manager‑level and senior roles. • Develop detailed job profiles, recruitment timelines, and market intelligence. • Execute multichannel candidate sourcing and diversity outreach. • Conduct screening, assessments, reference and reputational reviews. • Deliver candidate slates, interview logistics, and post‑hire guarantee. • Submit weekly status reports and manage all travel expenses within the fee.
