Description
Texas Southern University is seeking air charter services for the transportation of its football team to three away games. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing roundtrip air charter transportation services for approximately 130 passengers, including student-athletes, coaches, athletics staff, trainers, equipment personnel, and authorized travelers. The vendor must possess all required certifications, licenses, and approvals from the Federal Aviation Administration and other applicable regulatory agencies. The aircraft must meet all applicable federal safety standards, maintenance requirements, and operational regulations. The vendor shall provide experienced flight crew and operational support staff, as well as contingency and emergency response plans.
Some key requirements of the contract include:
• Providing air charter services for three trips to El Paso, Texas; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Huntsville, Alabama
• Meeting all applicable federal safety standards, maintenance requirements, and operational regulations
• Providing experienced flight crew and operational support staff
• Maintaining a proven record of providing collegiate and/or professional athletic team charter transportation services
• Providing contingency and emergency response plans
• Meeting the requirements outlined in the specifications and terms and conditions documents
