Contract Administration & Inspections Services for Blackerby Subdivision Utility Repairs - Phase I

The City and Borough of Juneau is seeking a consultant to provide contract administration and inspection services for the Blackerby Subdivision Utility Repairs – Phase I project. The project involves the reconstruction of the upper 360 LF of Blackerby Street and the entirety of Ridge Way in the Lemon Creek area of Juneau. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that the contractor constructs the work in accordance with the authorized drawings and specifications. The scope of services includes contract administration, inspection services, materials testing, and quality control. The consultant will also be responsible for preparing and submitting reports, maintaining records, and coordinating with the contractor and other stakeholders. • The project is expected to be completed by October 1, 2026, or 120 days from the commencement of work, whichever comes first. • The consultant will be required to provide a lump sum or time and materials proposal for the services. • The consultant will be responsible for maintaining insurance coverage, including commercial general liability, professional liability, workers' compensation, and comprehensive automobile liability insurance. • The consultant will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards. • The City and Borough of Juneau reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to negotiate the terms of the contract with the selected consultant.
