Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection (MEPFP) Engineering Services

The Norwich Free Academy (NFA) is seeking qualified Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, and Information Technology (MEPFP/IT) engineering services to support its multi-year capital improvement program. The program includes infrastructure and building systems upgrades of varying scope and complexity. The selected engineering firm will provide services such as evaluation of existing systems, preparation of signed and sealed construction documents, permitting support, bidding assistance, and construction administration. Anticipated projects include generator installation, building automation upgrades, rooftop unit replacements, public address/security system replacement, piping upgrades, WiFi infrastructure improvements, and boiler replacement. • The engineering firm will provide MEPFP/IT services for the NFA's capital improvement program. • The program includes upgrades to infrastructure and building systems. • The selected firm will provide evaluation, design, and construction administration services. • Anticipated projects include generator installation, building automation upgrades, and rooftop unit replacements. • The NFA is funded in part through grants from the Connecticut Department of Administrative Services, Office of Grants Administration (OGA).
