Budget estimate

$5,000,000 – $15,000,000

The estimated budget for this project is between $5 million and $15 million, based on the scope of work and the number of water meters to be replaced. The city has approximately 26,935 residential services, 3,314 commercial services, 22 industrial services, and 379 multi-housing services, which will require the replacement of a significant number of water meters. Additionally, the project involves the implementation of a secure and scalable AMI or AMR system, which will also require a substantial investment. The actual budget will depend on the contractor's proposal and the city's evaluation of the bids.
