Car Share Program

Clemson University seeks a qualified firm to design, launch, and operate a 24/7 campus‑wide car‑sharing service for students, faculty, and staff. The vendor must conduct a market assessment, provide a reservation system with mobile app, supply and maintain a minimum fleet of five EPA‑SmartWay vehicles (including at least one plug‑in hybrid), manage member databases, handle insurance, maintenance, customer support, reporting, profit‑sharing, and sustainability reporting. The program must be turnkey, cost‑neutral to the university, and include on‑site support, training, and integration with Clemson’s IT systems. Contracts are awarded for up to five one‑year terms (maximum five years total), with the first launch targeted for 12/15/2026.
