The City of Ontario’s Fleet Services Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive towing and related roadside assistance for its municipal vehicle fleet. The contract will cover light, medium, and heavy‑duty towing, winch‑out, lock‑out, jump‑start, tire‑change, fuel delivery, and related services on an as‑needed basis, with a primary and secondary contractor structure to ensure rapid response. The work period is two years beginning July 1 2026, with rates set in Exhibit C and a 45‑minute maximum response time for all dispatches. • Provide 24/7 on‑call towing for light (≤ 9,000 lb), medium (9,001‑26,000 lb), and heavy (≥ 26,001 lb) vehicles, including winch‑out and recovery equipment. • Meet a ≤ 45‑minute response time; repeated failures may result in termination. • Submit a detailed cost proposal (hourly/ tow rates) and required insurance, non‑collusion declaration, and staffing resumes via PlanetBids.
