8915--VALL Fresh Produce FY26

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is seeking sources capable of providing Fresh Produce for Loma Linda VA Healthcare System. The contractor should provide listed products and services at firm-fixed prices during the contractual performance period of 12 months. The VA requires deliveries to be made three times a week, and the contractor must demonstrate compliance with performance standards, including adherence to Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) principles. Some key requirements include: * Deliveries must conform to the provisions of the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and regulations promulgated thereunder. * Products must be clean, sound, wholesome, and free from foreign material. * The contractor must provide hand trucks, dollies for produce, and other necessary equipment for delivery. * The contractor must maintain personal liability and property damage insurance prescribed by the laws of the Federal Government. * The contractor must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local mandatory requirements and regulations.
