Equipment and Vehicle Financing Program

The City of San Diego is creating a pre‑qualified “pool” of financial institutions that can provide lease‑purchase, capital‑lease, and other financing for municipal vehicles, equipment, and IT projects. Qualified firms will be called upon throughout a five‑year (potentially extended to seven‑year) period to fund individual financing requests, with typical annual funding needs of $10‑30 million.
