The City of Charleston is seeking a vendor to provide uniforms and accessories for the Charleston Police Department. The selected vendor will be responsible for providing a range of uniform items, including shirts, pants, and jackets, as well as sewing and repair services. The vendor will also be required to provide an online ordering system and inventory management tools. The contract will be for an initial term of one year, with the option to extend for up to four additional years. • The vendor must provide a complete statement regarding materials and workmanship warranties offered on each item. • The vendor must be able to apply sewn-on name strips, rank-specific insignia, and department patches. • The vendor must provide a 24-hour response time, Monday through Friday, for questions and concerns. • The vendor must provide weekly updates on outstanding items and their status. • The vendor must provide a secure online ordering system, compatible with all smart phones and tablets. • The vendor must provide employee management and tracking tools, including historical data and distribution reports.
