PD-43-0132; SmartPacs Hardware Modernization

The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is seeking capability statements from interested parties for the modernization of SmartPacs Hardware and Software on the LCS 2 Class of ship. The scope of work includes Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) to update SmartPacs Hardware and Software configurations, integration of the modernized SmartPacs within the Ride Control System (RCS) and its associated subsystems, and support for NSWCPD Code 433 across the systems engineering lifecycle. Key tasks and requirements include: • Updating Integration Design Documentation (IDD), Interface Control Document (ICD), and Software Design Description (SDD) • Ensuring seamless integration of the modernized SmartPacs within the Ride Control System (RCS) and its associated subsystems • Supporting NSWCPD Code 433 across the systems engineering lifecycle, including configuration management and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) • Providing onsite installation support during CNO Availabilities • Demonstrating knowledge of and prior experience working directly with the LCS 2 Class Ride Control System (RCS) and SmartPacs Hardware and Software architecture
