Roman Catholic Priest

The Department of Ministry and Pastoral Care (DMPC) at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) is seeking a Roman Catholic Priest to provide comprehensive Catholic coverage supporting religious services, ministrations, rites, sacraments, and on-call coverage. The contractor will be required to perform the same ministry and pastoral services as those required of any Military or Government civil service Chaplain of similar experience assigned to the same unit at the MTF. Some key responsibilities include conducting daily and Sunday masses, providing ministrations and general ward patient visits, documenting pastoral care offered to patients, and providing pastoral counseling. The contractor must be a fully ordained Roman Catholic Priest, have a minimum of three years of experience working in hospital ministry, and be able to speak, read, and write English fluently. • Conduct daily and Sunday masses • Provide ministrations and general ward patient visits • Document pastoral care offered to patients • Provide pastoral counseling • Attend required training and maintain training in the hospital • Comply with MTF policies, procedures, and regulations
