Description
The State of South Carolina is seeking a qualified contractor to provide comprehensive janitorial services for the Cherokee County Health Department facility in Gaffney. The work includes daily cleaning of floors, restrooms, and high‑traffic areas; weekly exterior sweeping; monthly high‑surface dusting and window cleaning; and quarterly deep‑clean tasks such as blind and baseboard cleaning. The contractor must supply all cleaning materials, equipment, and consumables, maintain required insurance, background‑check employees, and adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
• Daily duties: floor care, trash removal, restroom sanitation, surface wiping, and supply replenishment.
• Periodic duties: weekly exterior sweeps, monthly window and high‑surface cleaning, quarterly blind/baseboard cleaning.
• Contractor responsibilities: provide all labor, supplies, equipment; maintain insurance (CGL ≥ $1 M, auto ≥ $1 M, workers’ comp); complete SLED background checks; sign confidentiality and HIPAA Business Associate Agreement.
