Description
The East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) is seeking qualified firms to provide on‑call, as‑needed temporary IT staffing across a broad range of technology disciplines. The contract is three years long, has no guaranteed minimum volume, and work will be issued through “Requests for Temporary Staff” (RTFS) that must be answered within one week. Vendors must furnish fully burdened hourly rates, maintain a qualified pool of consultants, and meet extensive insurance, background‑check, and data‑security requirements. Evaluation will be based on completeness, experience, technical criteria, methodology, references, compliance, and contract‑equity preference points; a minimum score of 70 is required.
• Scope covers application development, cloud & infrastructure, cybersecurity, data analytics, enterprise systems, project management, QA/testing, end‑user support, and emerging technologies.
• Contractors must provide rapid staffing responses, allow a two‑week assessment period with replacement at no cost, and submit monthly activity reports.
• No minimum spend is guaranteed; estimated annual spend is $1‑2 million, with rates firm for the first 12 months of each SOW.
