Annual Water Treatment Plant High Service Pump Maintenance Contractor

The City of Lakeland Water Utilities Department is seeking a qualified contractor to provide annual inspection, maintenance, repair, and testing services for vertical turbine and split case horizontal high service pumps at various water treatment plants and booster stations. The contractor will be responsible for providing preventative maintenance services, repairing and replacing pumps and related equipment, and ensuring reliable operation and minimizing downtime of critical water production and distribution equipment. The contract will be for a one-year term with the option for four one-year renewals. • The contractor must have experience working on similar municipal water utility systems and be capable of coordinating work schedules to minimize operational disruptions. • The contractor must provide a detailed inspection report for each pump, including photographs and measured dimensions. • The contractor must provide a warranty for all work performed and materials used. • The contractor must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including OSHA and environmental regulations. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance and bonding. • The contractor must provide a detailed pricing proposal, including unit costs for each type of pump and wearable service items.
