The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking a qualified C‑10 licensed electrical contractor to provide comprehensive installation, upgrade, maintenance, and repair of building door access control systems at the San Diego Transportation Management Center. The work includes replacing 82 Lenel card readers, installing Lenel 8.2 software, upgrading door contacts, electrified locks, hydraulic closers, and related cabling, as well as providing ongoing preventive maintenance and emergency repairs for a one‑year performance period. The contract ceiling is $461,000 and the bid must be submitted by 2 PM PST on April 21, 2026.
