Furnish & Install FEMA Compliant Emergency Shelter

The City of Lawrence, Kansas is seeking a qualified contractor to furnish, deliver, and professionally install an above-ground severe weather storm shelter at 256 Michigan Street. The shelter must be designed to provide maximum occupant protection during tornadoes and extreme weather events, meeting FEMA P-361 and ICC 500 standards, and accommodating a minimum of 55 individuals. The contractor must demonstrate experience in the construction of FEMA-certified storm shelters and comply with all City of Lawrence building codes, zoning requirements, inspections, and permitting procedures.
