Mission Woods Force Main Replacement Project

This Invitation for Bid (IFB) seeks contractors to replace a force main for Johnson County Wastewater in Mission Hills, KS. The scope includes horizontal directional drilling of approximately 1,829 linear feet of 8‑inch diameter force main, installation of several pre‑cast polymer concrete vaults and valves, abandonment of existing cast‑iron pipe, testing, and related site work such as removal of curb, trees, and pavement. The project also requires pump‑station improvements and full restoration of the site. • Install 1,829 ft of new 8‑in. force main via HDD and associated precast vaults/valves. • Abandon ~1,833 ft of existing 8‑in. cast‑iron force main and perform testing and site restoration. • Perform pump‑station upgrades, including new meter vault, bypass, and drain line, plus site access improvements.
