Description
The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development is seeking a Special Education Administrative Coach to provide on-site and distance technical assistance to support schools and districts in improving systems and structures that increase special education student achievement. The coach will work collaboratively with district and school staff to assess needs and design interventions based on educational research. Key responsibilities include developing school improvement efforts, assisting with alignment of district procedures, increasing data systems literacy, and providing training and technical assistance. The coach will also participate in professional development meetings and trainings, and submit regular activity and travel logs.
