On-Call Plumbing Services for the Housing Authority of Washington County

The Housing Authority of Washington County (HAWC) is seeking a 2-year contract for on-call plumbing services in residential properties managed by HAWC. The contractor will provide all services detailed in the scope of work, including scheduling routine service calls, responding to emergency service calls, and performing repairs and replacements of plumbing fixtures and systems. The contractor must possess a valid Plumbing Contractors License and ensure that all employees are aware of the no-smoking policy and enforce this provision. The contract will be awarded based on the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, and the County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. • The contractor must obtain all required permits and coordinate jurisdictional inspections. • The contractor must possess a valid Journeyman Plumber License. • The contractor must ensure that all employees are aware of the no-smoking policy and enforce this provision. • The contractor must complete an affidavit in proof that they did not enter into any collusion with any person in respect to this contract. • The contractor must ensure that residents have continuous access to their units during the project. • The contractor must provide clear signage, fencing, or other barriers to direct residents to the nearest available access point to their units.
