Description

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking qualified firms to design, supply, and integrate three transit‑technology systems for the University of New Hampshire’s Wildcat Transit fleet. The scope includes a cloud‑based computer‑aided dispatch (CAD) and AVL platform, interior and exterior digital destination signage, and GPS‑triggered stop‑announcement equipment. Vendors must meet Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements, provide 24/7 support, and ensure ADA‑compliant, multilingual capabilities. • Provide a unified CAD/AVL system with real‑time tracking, GTFS‑compatible public arrival predictions, and open‑API integration with UNH mobile apps. • Deliver interior/exterior digital destination signs and synchronized audio/visual stop‑announcement hardware for both full‑size buses and cut‑away vehicles. • Offer training, ongoing technical support, and compliance with USNH insurance, PCI‑DSS, and sustainability guidelines.

Budget estimate

$1,000,000 – $5,000,000

No specific award ceiling is disclosed. Comparable university‑wide transit‑technology contracts typically range from $1 million to $5 million, depending on system complexity, fleet size, and service‑level agreements. Assuming a three‑year term with optional extensions, the total contract value is likely to fall within the low‑single‑digit‑million range.
