Description
The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking bids for bus transportation services for the Santa Barbara Junior Lifeguard program participants between six separate designated pick-up/drop-off locations and the program site, Refugio State Beach. The contract duration is from June 15, 2026, to August 31, 2027, with a total of 58 days of service. The successful bidder will be required to provide daily, weekday bus transportation service for the program participants.
• The contract requires a minimum of 5 days' advance notice for scheduling.
• The contractor must have a Commercial B with Passenger Endorsement License.
• The contract has a small business preference and a disabled veteran business enterprise (DVBE) incentive.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
• The contract includes provisions for payment, invoicing, and termination.
