Description
The United States Air Force is seeking a contractor to provide kitchen hoods and ducts exhaust systems service at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Alaska. The contractor will be responsible for performing recurring inspections, preventive maintenance, cleaning, inspecting, testing, and certifying kitchen hoods and ducts exhaust systems. The contractor must also provide all necessary personnel, equipment, and materials to perform the work. Some key requirements include:
* Performing work in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard 96 and other applicable standards and codes
* Providing a quality control program to ensure maintenance and repair services are performed satisfactorily
* Submitting a written electronic report within 2 business days of each inspection
* Complying with all JBER security requirements and obtaining necessary passes, decals, badges, or items required for access to perform hoods and ducts cleaning services
* Providing an inventory of hazardous materials brought onto JBER and complying with federal regulations regarding the management of hazardous waste
* Ensuring all employees have the necessary certifications and licenses to operate required vehicles and equipment.
