The State of Alabama Department of Human Resources is seeking a qualified HVAC contractor to provide a one‑time preventive‑maintenance (PM) service at each of its county offices. The contract covers July 1 2026 through September 30 2026 and includes comprehensive filter replacement, coil cleaning, refrigerant verification, electrical and mechanical inspections, and water‑treatment reporting for designated water‑based systems. The vendor must hold Alabama HVAC, refrigeration, and Master Gasfitter licenses, EPA Section 608 certification, and must submit detailed documentation (photos, inspection forms, water‑treatment reports) for each completed visit. Repairs identified during the PM must be quoted, approved, and completed by the contract end date.
• Perform a full preventive‑maintenance visit at every DHR location (including 11 counties with water‑based HVAC) between July 1 and September 30 2026.
• Replace all filters (MERV‑10 or higher), clean coils, verify refrigerant levels, and conduct electrical/mechanical checks per the specification.
• Provide photographic evidence, completed inspection certificates, and water‑treatment analysis reports; report any refrigerant losses to the EPA.
• Submit separate repair quotes with disclosed part‑markup percentages; all approved repairs must be finished no later than September 30 2026.
