Janitorial Services at the U.S. Consulate, Dubai, UAE

The U.S. Consulate General Dubai is seeking a contractor to provide janitorial services for its facilities in Dubai, UAE. The contract is for a one-year period, with a possible extension. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary janitorial supplies and equipment, as well as personnel to perform the work. The services will include daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning tasks, as well as special event cleaning. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the facilities, including restrooms, kitchens, and other areas. • Daily cleaning tasks will include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and emptying trash. • Weekly cleaning tasks will include spot cleaning baseboards and walls, and waxing and polishing floors. • Monthly cleaning tasks will include cleaning major appliances, wiping window blinds, and polishing surfaces. • Quarterly cleaning tasks will include shampooing carpets, dusting tops of furniture, and washing windows. The contractor will be required to provide a transition plan, general instructions, and schedules for the work. The contractor will also be responsible for maintaining quality control and performing inspections to ensure that the work is being performed to the required standards.
