REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONCESSION OPERATOR FOR THE TENAFLY MUNICIPAL POOL SNAC

The Borough of Tenafly is seeking a Concession Operator for the Municipal Pool Snack Bar. The Concession Operator will be responsible for operating the snack bar during the pool season, providing supervision and staffing, and maintaining the snack bar in accordance with Board of Health requirements. The contract is for a one-year term, with a minimum bid of $2,000. The Concession Operator must comply with all applicable laws, including Affirmative Action requirements. • The snack bar must be open at all times when the pool is open during the pool season. • The Concession Operator must provide an adult supervisor at all times. • The Concession Operator is responsible for training staff and obtaining food handler certificates if required. • The Concession Operator must keep the snack bar clean and empty the garbage at the end of the night. • The Concession Operator is responsible for replacing and/or repairing equipment at their discretion and expense. • The Concession Operator must obtain all required Board of Health permits and licenses. • The Concession Operator must provide adequate Worker’s Compensation Insurance and Liability Insurance.
