Heavy Equipment & Tool Rentals and Related Services (AXIA)

The City of Tucson is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide heavy equipment and tool rentals, as well as related services, for various construction, utility, and public works projects. The contract will be for an indefinite period, with options for renewal. The successful vendor will be required to provide hourly, daily, weekly, and monthly rental options, with no minimum guarantees. The vendor will also be responsible for maintaining product quality and safety standards, handling urgent/emergency order requests, and providing services such as delivery, installation, and maintenance. • The contract will be administered through the Axia Cooperative purchasing program, which allows other public agencies to piggyback on the City's contracts. • The estimated annual volume for purchases made nationwide through this contract category is $50,000,000. • The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, with 30 days' advance written notice. • The vendor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and city ordinances. • The vendor will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of all transactions, including invoices, payments, and equipment usage.
