Description
The Department of the Navy is seeking proposals for title and escrow services for the Naval Air Station Fallon Encroachment Protection Agreement and General Real Estate Program. The selected Proposer will provide title and escrow services, including preliminary, updated, and final work for title searches, Title Commitments, Abstracts of Title, title policies, and escrow services for the closing of property interests in the form of Restrictive Use Easements (RUE(s)) within the State of Nevada. The Proposer shall be licensed in the State of Nevada and shall abide by all Federal and State laws and standards of practice required of a professional title and escrow company. The Proposer will work closely with the Real Estate Contracting Officer (RECO) and the Real Estate Specialists to obtain clear title for all properties being acquired by purchase of restrictive use easements of real property interests.
Key aspects of the job include:
• Performing title searches and providing title commitments and abstracts of title
• Conducting real property acquisition closings and issuing final title policies
• Resolving title issues and providing escrow services
• Working closely with the RECO and Real Estate Specialists to ensure smooth acquisition process
The period of performance is five years, with the option to extend for an additional 15 years.
