BUILDING SERVICES – INSPECTION & PLAN REVIEW

The City of Palm Bay is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide hourly rate services for building inspection and plan review. The selected vendors will provide services on a daily or as-needed basis to augment the City's responsibility for enforcement of the Florida Building Code. The contract includes services such as building inspection, plans examination, and permit review. The vendors will be required to provide certification information for all applicable personnel. • The contract includes five vendors: Bureau Veritas North America, Inc., GFA International, Inc., Joe Payne, Inc., M.T. Causley, a Safebuilt Company, and Universal Engineering Sciences. • The contract includes various services such as hourly fee for building inspector, plans examiner, and building official. • The contract has a grand total for each vendor, ranging from $87,200.00 to $118,208.00. • The contract requires the vendors to provide services in accordance with Florida Statute Chapter 468.
