Description
This contract is for the service, inspection, and purchase of fire extinguishers in compliance with 29 CFR 1910.157. The scope of work includes the inspection and certification of approximately 800 portable fire extinguishers, as well as the purchase and installation of new fire extinguishers as needed. The contract is for a term of three years, with the option to renew for an additional three one-year periods. The contract includes provisions for insurance, indemnification, and termination. The vendor is required to provide a report to the County Risk Management Department upon completion of inspection/repairs for each site location, and to invoice the County for services rendered.
