Professional Services for Green Infrastructure Plan Development

The County of San Mateo is seeking a consultant or consultant team to provide policy support and technical analysis to develop and implement a Green Infrastructure (GI) Plan. The plan aims to demonstrate how the County will shift from traditional "gray" storm drain infrastructure to "green" infrastructure, which captures, stores, and treats stormwater using specially-designed landscape systems. The consultant or team of consultants will work with multiple departments, including the Office of Sustainability, Department of Public Works, Planning & Building Department, and Parks Department. The scope of work includes developing and implementing the GI Plan by July 2019. Key aspects of the contract include: • Developing a GI Plan that meets the requirements of the Municipal Regional Permit (MRP) • Providing policy support and technical analysis to develop and implement the GI Plan • Working with multiple departments to develop and implement the GI Plan • Using the County's GI Workplan as a guide for development of the GI Plan • Completing the contract by July 2019
