Description
The City of Palm Bay is requesting proposals for the annual inspection, recharging, six-year maintenance check, hydrostatic testing, parts and replacement of fire extinguishers, as well as semi-annual inspection, certification, tags and replacement of fusible metal alloy links for pre-engineered fire suppression systems. The contract involves approximately 650 fire extinguishers of various types located in City buildings and vehicles. The City may also elect to purchase new fire extinguishers during the term of the contract. Key aspects of the contract include:
