Cost Estimating Services

The Multnomah County Department of County Assets, Facilities and Property Management is seeking cost estimating services to support the County's work. The selected firm(s) will provide traditional and specialized cost management services, including cost models, program estimates, detailed itemized estimates, and change order cost evaluations. The contract term is five years with an option to renew for an additional one-year period. The County is seeking to award multiple contracts, up to a maximum of three, to the responsible proposers whose proposals are determined to be most advantageous to the County. • The contract requires the selected firm(s) to have extensive experience and knowledge of local Multnomah County construction and associated materials, labor, and other construction-related costs. • The contract includes a scope of work that involves providing cost estimating services, including review and recommendation of costs related to proposed County projects. • The contract requires the selected firm(s) to provide a professional level of review of all deliverables to assure quality, technical accuracy, and coordination of all documents furnished by the Proposer(s) under this Agreement. • The contract includes a provision for cooperative purchasing, which allows other public agencies to establish contracts or price agreements directly with the awarded contractor under the terms, conditions, and prices of the original contract.
