Service of Fire Extinguishers/Fire Suppression Systems, Related Equipment, Inspections, Repairs & Purchase of Parts/Equipment

The Hernando County School Board is seeking a contract for on-site fire extinguisher and kitchen fire suppression hood systems services. The contract will establish fixed hourly labor rates, firm unit pricing, and firm percentage off manufacturers' list prices for replacement parts, supplies, and materials. The services will be required on an as-needed basis, county-wide. The contract will include certification and tagging of portable fire extinguishers, inspection, certification, and tagging of commercial kitchen fire suppression hoods and systems, and hourly rate for labor for the inspection and service of other fire-related equipment. • The contract will be for a fixed period, with the option to renew. • The contract will require the vendor to provide all labor, personnel, equipment, supplies, and materials. • The contract will require the vendor to conduct state-required twice-a-year fire inspections and services. • The contract will require the vendor to provide a percentage discount off manufacturers' list prices for fire safety devices, parts, equipment, etc. • The contract will be awarded to the vendor who provides the best value to the school district.
