Description
The City of Mobile awarded a one‑year shuttle contract to provide transportation of cruise‑passenger vehicles and luggage between the Mobile Alabama Cruise Terminal and the Civic Center overflow parking lot. The service must operate on cruise days from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., moving 200‑250 passengers on the disembarkation leg and 90‑100 on the embarkation leg within 2.5 hours each direction. Vendors must submit hourly or daily rates (all‑inclusive), provide vehicles with ample luggage space, maintain insurance, be E‑Verify compliant, and meet a 15% DBE participation goal. The contract may be renewed up to two additional one‑year terms.
• Service period: November 1 2016 – November 1 2017 (with two optional renewals)
• Performance windows: 7 a.m.–4 p.m. on cruise days, first cruise on November 9 2016
• Evaluation: 40% cost, 20% vehicle quality, 20% experience, 20% references
