The City of Wilmington is seeking a qualified janitorial contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning services for eight city‑owned facilities, including the Operations Center and the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization. Services are required twice weekly at each site, covering daily cleaning, periodic deep‑clean tasks, and post‑5 PM work schedules. The contractor must supply all cleaning equipment and green chemicals (except paper products, toilet paper, soap, and liners), pass background checks for all staff, maintain uniformed personnel, and comply with minority‑business participation goals. Pricing is to be submitted on a per‑visit basis, with a 2 % escalation for any potential one‑year extensions. The contract period runs until June 30 2025, with the possibility of two additional one‑year renewals. Evaluation will be criteria‑based, weighting technical competence, approach, and cost.
