Assistance in Developing Public Participation Training

This contract is for assistance in developing public participation training for Pinellas County. The Participation Company LLC will provide training and coaching to county staff on best practices in public participation, including designing effective public participation, facilitating group dialogue, and working with public anger and frustration. The contract has a budget of $50,000 and is expected to last for one year. The training program will include a situation assessment, design of a training framework, development of specific classes and materials, and delivery of training sessions. • The contract includes a situation assessment with up to 20 interviews • Designing overall training framework • Development of specific classes and materials • Senior leadership session, one half day session • Manager and technical staff sessions, two cohorts of half day sessions • P2 staff fundamentals, two cohorts of two-day training • Four days of higher level classes in half or full day configurations • 15 hours of coaching
