Description
This solicitation seeks a qualified janitorial contractor to provide comprehensive cleaning services for eight City‑owned facilities and the Wilmington Metropolitan Planning Organization. Services are required twice weekly at each site and include daily cleaning, monthly deep‑clean tasks, and quarterly specialty tasks such as high‑dusting and vent cleaning. The contractor must supply all cleaning equipment and “green” products, while the City provides paper products, trash liners, and restroom supplies. All work is to be performed after 5 PM on weekdays, and staff must pass background checks, wear uniformed identification, and be supervised on‑site. The contract runs from the award date through June 30 2025 with the possibility of two one‑year extensions, each subject to a 2 % price increase.
