The City of Goodyear has awarded a contract to the Southwest Valley Chamber of Commerce to operate an Information and Business Center. The contract includes services such as responding to public requests for information, maintaining a Visitor Information Center, and providing links to city resources on the Chamber's website. The contract also includes sponsorship opportunities for the city at various Chamber events. The contract term is one year with four optional one-year renewals, and the total contract value is $25,000 per year. • The Chamber will provide quarterly financial reports and an audited annual financial statement to the city. • The Chamber will collaborate with the city on entrepreneurship-focused events and provide sponsorship opportunities for the city. • The city will have the opportunity to review and approve marketing materials and scripts related to the city. • The Chamber will provide ribbon-cutting and groundbreaking services to Goodyear businesses at no charge.
