Description
The County of Riverside is seeking a vendor to provide Third-Party Administration Services for the county's Voluntary Employees' Beneficiary Association (VEBA) Post Employment Program (PEP) Health Savings Plan (HSP). The services include recordkeeping, claims processing, daily customer service, and generation of quarterly statements to Plan participants. The contract was awarded to Gallagher Benefit Services, Inc. The county has a workforce of over 20,000 employees and currently contracts with several vendors to administer the PEP HSP. The VEBA account balance was $47.5 million as of March 31, 2018. The contract includes the following services:
• Recordkeeping
• Claims processing
• Daily customer service
• Generation of quarterly statements to Plan participants
• Professional Plan consulting services
• Trustee/Custodian services
• Investment Manager/Advisor services.
