Description
The Topeka Public Schools issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a Student Information System, but later canceled it to re-evaluate their needs. The RFP was issued on September 15, 2016, and the deadline for submission was October 6, 2016. The district appreciated the time and effort expended by vendors to respond to the RFP, but decided to step back and determine their requirements internally. Some key features of the RFP included:
• The requirement for an integrated enterprise Student Information System
• The need for vendors to submit an original and five copies of their proposal, as well as a CD-ROM or thumb drive with the proposal in Word/Excel format
• The requirement for vendors to include a fully executed Signature Sheet with their proposal
• The availability of addenda and questions and answers on the district's website
