20-4990 Fleet Vehicle Accessories and Installation, Including Police Up-Fitting (Phoenix COOP )

The City of Goodyear has entered into a cooperative purchasing agreement with Don Chalmers Ford, Inc. dba MHQ of Arizona for fleet vehicle accessories and installation, including police up-fitting. The contract is for a period of one year, with the option to extend for up to four years. The contract amount is $100,000. The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time, with or without cause, upon giving thirty-day written notice to the contractor. The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, and supplies to perform the required services at the City's facilities. The City's authorized representative will decide all questions that may arise as to the quality and acceptability of any work performed under the contract. • The contract includes provisions for payment, invoicing, and contract changes. • The contractor is required to provide a written assurance of its intent to perform if requested by the City. • The City reserves the right to cancel the contract if it is found that gratuities were offered or given by the contractor or any agent or representative of the contractor to any officer or employee of the City. • The contract includes a provision for termination by mutual written consent or by the City with or without cause upon giving thirty-day written notice to the contractor.
