Commissary Services

This contract is for commissary services provided by Keefe Commissary Network, LLC to Jackson County Department of Corrections. The services include the ordering of commissary items by inmates, operation of and payment for commissary, payments to inmate trust accounts, an inmate package program, transferring funds from inmates' trust accounts to secure release cards upon their release, vending services, and the operation of a secure inmate tablet program. The contract has a term of 3 years with two 12-month renewal options. The commission paid to Jackson County is 26% of adjusted gross sales of commissary items. • The contract includes payment services, secure release services, and an inmate package program. • Keefe Commissary Network, LLC is responsible for providing the necessary equipment and software for the commissary services. • Jackson County Department of Corrections is responsible for managing and reconciling the funds in the inmate trust accounts. • The contract has a termination clause that allows either party to cancel the agreement if the other party breaches any of the terms or conditions.
