YEAR-ROUND EMERGENCY SHELTER HOUSING SERVICES

The County of Orange, Health Care Agency, has awarded a contract to Friendship Shelter, Inc. for Year-Round Emergency Shelter Housing Services. The contract, valued at $2,750,000, will provide shelter services to homeless individuals in Orange County. The contractor will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment, as well as supportive services such as case management, assessments, and housing plans. The contract has a term of 5 years, with the option to renew. The County of Orange will monitor the contractor's performance and ensure compliance with the contract terms and conditions. Key performance outcomes include ensuring that a minimum of 25% of homeless, mentally ill residents will move to transitional or permanent housing within 180 calendar days, and that the average length of stay of all residents will be 180 calendar days or less.
