Meter Installation Vendor Services

The contract is for meter installation vendor services to assist with the mass deployment and exchange of roughly 370k electric meters and 22k water meters for Snohomish County PUD. The contract was awarded to Aclara Smart Grid Solutions, LLC for a total amount of $298,125.00 plus applicable taxes. The contract includes the licensing of the Profield Work Order Management System to assist with the deployment and exchange of meters. The contract will commence on October 1st, 2022 and will remain in effect for 27 months, or through December 31st, 2024. • The contract includes the provision of expertise and consulting services to assist with the logistical setup and physical exchange of meters. • The contract includes the provision of a Work Order Management System (WOMS) to streamline the process. • The contract has an option to renew in six-month increments subject to an annual cost increase equal to 3%. • The contract is for the implementation of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and is part of the District's smart grid future. • The contract will provide benefits to customers, including enhanced outage and billing notifications, flexible billing dates, and detailed usage displays.
