AMERICAN SIGN LANGUAGE INTERPRETATION SERVICES

The County of Sacramento issued a Request for Bid (RFB) for American Sign Language Interpretation Services. The contract was awarded to three vendors: Eaton Interpreting Services Inc., Interpreters Unlimited LLC, and NorCal Services for Deaf and Hard of Hearing. The contract is for interpretative services for the deaf and hard of hearing as needed by the County. The scope of work includes providing American Sign Language interpretation services. • The contract was awarded after an evaluation process, where ASL Communications and Natural Languages LLC were disqualified for not meeting the minimum requirements and having excessive rates. • The County of Sacramento appreciates the participation of all offerors in this RFB. • The contract is expected to provide essential services to the County's deaf and hard of hearing community.
