Description
Knox County is seeking bids for the provision of Roll-Off Hauling Services. The successful bidder will be required to provide roll-off hauling services for municipal solid waste, construction and demolition waste, and recycling containers. The contract is expected to be for a period of one year, with the possibility of extension for up to four additional years. Bidders must submit their bids by May 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM local time. The bidder must also comply with various terms and conditions, including providing written proof that all containers hauled and solid waste collected will be transported and disposed of in a proper and sanitary manner.
• The services include hauling roll-off containers containing municipal solid waste, construction and demolition material, fill material, and recyclables.
• The contractor must provide qualified supervision and workers with attention to customer service.
• The contractor must perform work without unnecessary interference with Knox County activities or other contractors.
• The contractor will be allowed to store Knox County-owned roll-off containers at their facility for regular hauling activity.
